Enjoy getting to work in this experience in which you will learn how to prepare some of the most iconic sauces in Mexico, including the famous guacamole, the classic pico de gallo and others, also participate in a super fun salsa class, the classic Latin dance that will undoubtedly leave indelible memories of a day of fun.

Pair your freshly made salsas with some delicious quesadillas, tortilla chips and fried tacos while washing it all down with a refreshing margarita. With that, you'll be ready to learn some graceful salsa dance steps.

You can't eat and dance it, but after the dance lessons get ready to enjoy the best of the Caribbean. It's time to explore the park and take part in any of the many included activities and attractions. Relax on the sand, dive into the pools. Have fun with your little ones playing the fierce pirates aboard the stranded ship in the "Bahía Bucaneros", a wading pool with water cannons, slides and games for children. Slide 60 meters at full speed down the spiral of the twin slides; Challenge the challenges of the immense Floating Park, unique on the island. Dare to navigate in a pedal boat, in short, pamper yourself and have fun with any of the included games, toys and amenities.

Your excursion package includes entrance to the cooking and dancing class, entrance to Playa Mia Grand Beach Park, snacks during the cooking class, 1 dish of your choice, national open bar and the use of multiple attractions, services, amenities and conveniences such such as beach loungers, shopping area, underwater Mayan replicas, organized games, non-motorized beach toys and much more.

Recommendations of Dance & Salsas

Bring comfortable clothes, swimsuit, sandals, hat, cash and credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express) for purchases and tips.

IMPORTANT: Playa Mia is committed to protecting Cozumel's ocean environment and reefs; that is why the use of any type of sunscreen or sunscreen, which could eventually reach the ocean, is no longer allowed. All clients must take a shower BEFORE entering the sea or the pools of Playa Mia. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, caps, and sunglasses to protect against UV rays. Corals, minnows and all other sea creatures will appreciate your cooperation!

Regulations of Dance & Salsas

Guests must wear a face mask in common areas, when around other guests and when interacting with staff, in accordance with the security guidelines established by the local government.
The staff will provide each client with antibacterial gel (at least 70% alcohol) upon arrival at the park.
We have dispensers in the different areas of the park to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal representative, guardian or parent at all times.
The minimum age to consume alcoholic beverages in Mexico is 18 years. Alcoholic beverages are not served to minors, even with parental consent.
Playa Mia reserves the right to require an official photo ID as proof of legal age to allow alcohol consumption at any time.
Playa Mia reserves the right to deny the service of alcoholic beverages to guests who are minors, those who have apparent signs of alcohol intoxication or conduct themselves in an inappropriate manner.
Participation in any attraction or service offered by Playa Mia will be under the responsibility and risk of the participant.

Cancelation policies of Dance & Salsas

Full refund will apply in the following cases:


      1. When the service is canceled by the supplier.


      2. Due to illness, presenting a doctor's report.


      3. The Cancellation or date change is made prior to 11:00 am the day before the service.





No refunds will apply:


      1. If the client does not show on the date and time of service.
