Description of Chichen Itza
CULTURAL STOPPING: On the way to Chichen Itza, we make a cultural stop where you'll appreciate handicrafts in the stone workshop, where you'll see the artisan create them, try corn tortillas handmade by Mayan women, taste Xtabentun, a typical regional drink, and receive a blessing from a Mayan shaman.
Enjoy a wonderful day visiting Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, located in Yucatan. We'll take you on a wonderful experience and get to know the great Mayan culture up close with our professional guides, who will tell you about their customs. You'll also get a close-up look at the impressive Temple of Kukulkan, the ball court, the Great Sacred Cenote, and several other structures.
CENOTE SWIM: After touring Chichen Itza and its impressive buildings, you'll enjoy a refreshing swim in an ancient cenote. These were and are sources of water for the people of the region. Recharge your batteries in this mystical place. VALLADOLID: One of the highlights is the picturesque colonial city of Valladolid, where you can appreciate the passage of history by gazing at the 16th-century Cathedral of San Servacio.
