Monkey Snorkel - Without transportation
Description of Monkey Snorkel
The Monkey Snorkel tour offers a unique experience by combining a visit to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, where you can meet rescued animals, with the exciting opportunity to snorkel in Akumal Bay and swim alongside sea turtles in their natural habitat. This tour will allow you to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the Riviera Maya.
A professional will guide us through the sanctuary and share information about the animals. He or she will tell stories about how many of these species arrived at the sanctuary, several of which were rescued from poachers.
You'll experience an educational outreach?live interaction?with several unique animal species.
The first outreach involves different species of birds, belonging to the parrot and macaw group.
The second outreach involves non-poisonous snakes, raising awareness about the importance of these reptiles in the food chain.
The third outreach involves primates: black-faced capuchin monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, and squirrel monkeys.
To continue, we'll move to Yal-ku Cove.
Yal-ku Cove is a hidden treasure of the Riviera Maya, a small inlet where salt waters mix with fresh waters, creating a place of great beauty, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
In this paradise, we will immerse ourselves in a surprising ecosystem that is home to colorful tropical fish.
A professional guide will accompany us at all times to make our visit even more enjoyable.
