The ATV Snorkeling and Monkey Tour is an adventure that combines a visit to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary with an ATV tour through the jungle, a cenote exploration, and snorkeling in Akumal Bay. This full-day tour offers a complete experience of contact with nature, educational bonding with rescued animals, and adventure activities. This tour combines the excitement of an ATV tour through the Mayan jungle with the unique experience of snorkeling in Akumal Bay, famous for its sea turtles.
A professional will guide us through the sanctuary and share information about the animals. They'll tell stories about how many of these species arrived at the sanctuary, many of them rescued from poachers.
You'll experience an educational outreach?live interaction?with several unique animal species.
The first outreach involves different species of birds, belonging to the parrot and macaw group.
The second outreach involves non-poisonous snakes, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of these reptiles in the food chain.
The third encounter is with primates: black-faced capuchin monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys, and squirrel monkeys.
To continue, we will travel to Yal-ku Cove.
Yal-ku Cove is a hidden treasure of the Riviera Maya, a small inlet where salt water mixes with fresh water, creating a place of great beauty, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
In this paradise, we will immerse ourselves in a surprising ecosystem that is home to colorful tropical fish.
A professional guide will accompany us at all times to make our visit more enjoyable.
