Our adventure begins with a visit to a small Mayan community nestled in the middle of the jungle. Here, we'll immerse ourselves in their customs and traditions while learning the ancient art of Mayan pottery. You'll have the opportunity to create your own pottery pieces, which you can take home as a unique souvenir.
Then, we'll head to Coba, one of the most important archaeological sites of the ancient Mayan civilization. This site is home to the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula, as well as the oldest pyramid in the Mayan world. You'll have the opportunity to explore its impressive structures, surrounded by jungle, lakes, and ancient paths that once connected this vibrant city.
After immersing ourselves in history, we'll change pace for an adventurous experience, swimming in one of the most beautiful cenotes in the region. Enjoy its crystal-clear, refreshing waters for a truly unforgettable experience.
To end the day, we'll enjoy a delicious typical Mayan dish in front of the tranquil Coba Lagoon, while watching a serene sunset over the water.
